Annually awards 400 scholarships, of $1,000 and $2,000, to students attending two-year
higher-education institutions granting terminal degrees. Each campus can nominate
one student.
Basic eligibility: Nominees must have at least a 2.5 GPA, have some community service or be employed
part- or full-time, and be enrolled in at least two courses during the upcoming fall
term a two-year institution.
This scholarship will be awarded to newly admitted, first semester nursing students (MJC RN Program) who demonstrate an interest in community health, intend to work in the Central Valley and who have financial need.
