Expanding on the promise to our educational stakeholders, including students, staff, faculty, administration, and the community, the Student Success and Equity Committee鈥檚 (SSEC) mission asserts the College鈥檚 mission to 鈥�empowering students to discover opportunities and reach their goals through access to and inclusion in higher education鈥� and maintains MJC鈥檚 Student Equity and Achievement Plan in accordance with CCCCO requirements to identify and remedy achievement disparities based on success indicators.
The MJC Student Equity and Achievement (SEA) Plan uses the following Success Indicators:
The SEA Plan includes funding for individual or group projects that reduce gaps for disproportionately impacted students at MJC. The committee encourages you to submit a proposal by completing a SEA Funding Application benefiting one or more of the following groups:
